Concussion Care

A concussion is a mild traumatic brain injury caused by a bump, jolt, or blow to the head. They often go unrecognized as people tend to brush them off as just “a bump on the head.” While many people associate concussions with sports injuries, they are more often caused by falls, motor vehicle accidents and being struck by an object. The vast majority of concussion-related symptoms can resolve on their own within two or three weeks. However, if they persist, you should seek treatment from a healthcare professional with training in concussion management. Our multi-disciplinary approach to assessment and treatment is designed to help you recover as quickly and safely as possible to get you back to life.
